art002e016331 (April 7, 2026) – A vehicle camera mounted on NASA’s Orion spacecraft captured this view of sunset as the Sun slipped behind part of the spacecraft. The Sun’s bright glow outlines the spacecraft in silhouette, while the faint solar corona extends into the surrounding darkness. The image was captured as part of a multishot time-lapse sequence, with images taken every 30 seconds to document changing views during sunset.
