The bus structure for the Near-Earth Object (NEO) Surveyor spacecraft is installed to the sunshade during a “fit check” at BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems in Boulder, Colorado, in September 2025. This was the first time the two components were attached to one another. The sunshade is the largest component of the spacecraft, standing at over 20 feet (6 meters) high.
