In the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility (PHSF), Dan Maynard, a Jet Propulsion Laboratory technician, inserts the Digital Video Disk (DVD) into a shallow cavity between two pieces of aluminum that will protect it from micrometeoroid impacts.
