CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. –– The Atlas V first stage is being transferred from the hangar at the Atlas Space Operations Facility to the Vertical Integration Facility near Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 41. The Atlas V/Centaur is the launch vehicle for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, or LRO.
