CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Lockheed Martin technicians and engineers monitor the progress and assist as needed as a crane begins to lift the Orion heat shield away from a stand inside the Operations and Checkout Building high bay at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
