CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- On Complex 17-B at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, a crane is lowered toward the second stage of the Delta 2 rocket. Once attached to the second stage, the crane will lift it into the mobile service tower for mating with the first stage. The Delta 2 rocket is the launch vehicle for NASA's Kepler spacecraft.
